As a Portal Solutions’ developer, you will consult with clients to define needs, and conduct studies and surveys to obtain requirements and recommend solutions. You will also plan, design, and implement new solutions using SharePoint Technologies or improve existing systems per discovered requirements.

This position will also plan, design, and implement new solutions using SharePoint Technologies or improve existing systems per discovered requirements, and assist with a wide variety of important issues and activities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S., B.A.) required
- Three to seven years related experience and/or training
- Consulting experience a plus
- Proven development experience using ASP.NET, Microsoft .NET Framework, XML Web Services, C# and/or VB.NET
- Experience with database Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005, T-SQL, Microsoft SQL Analysis Services experience a plus
- HTML, Javascript, XML, XSLT experience desired
- General knowledge of one of the following development methodologies: Object Oriented Development, Component Based Development, eXtreme Programming, Patterns, Design for reuse
- Experience using or architecting solutions using Microsoft SharePoint Technologies, SharePoint Portal Server 2003, MOSS or Windows SharePoint Services v2 and v3; understanding of SharePoint architecture is a plus
- Microsoft Certification, MCAD, or MCSD .NET
- Experience with .NET Framework 2.0
- Experience using Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Visio
- Read, analyze, and interpret common technical journals.
- Microsoft Certification MCAD or MSCD strongly desired
Salary commensurate with experience. Local travel may be required in the Washington, DC and Baltimore metro area.
