Global Executive Search Firm
One of the world’s largest executive search firms wanted to implement a global, company-wide intranet using SharePoint 2007 and MOSS. Behind this initiative was their desire to establish easy access to key business indicators by deploying customer-focused dashboards, as well as improving company communications and internal coordination on all projects and engagements. The firm retained Portal Solutions to design and deploy a large corporate intranet using MOSS, which would accommodate 1500 users over five continents. Included in this effort was close coordination with the client’s design agency, as Portal Solutions also implemented the new, custom branding being launched by the search firm. Portal Solutions worked intimately with the client’s professional staff to create customer-focused dashboards, and ensured that the user interface was simple and easy to understand. The result of this solution is that the search firm has improved its client management process dramatically, with enhanced project collaboration among team members and greater visibility for its top executives.
