Daniel Cohen-Dumani, Founder and CEO, started Portal Solutions in 2002. His mission from the beginning has been to build the leading provider of business solutions based on Microsoft’s Collaborative Technologies, specifically those based on the SharePoint platform. Under Daniel’s leadership, the company has thrived and is one of the fastest growing firms in the DC area as ranked by Inc. magazine. Daniel previously served as the CTO of OCM/Alloy, and prior to that he served as the CIO and Senior Vice President of the Execustay division of Marriott Corporation. Daniel graduated from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology with a degree in Computer Science.

Marty Schuchman, Chief Operating Officer, is responsible for the overall delivery of services and client satisfaction for the company. He brings more than twenty years of software development and consulting experience to Portal Solutions.  Marty served previously as the COO of Apptix, an OnDemand provider of Hosted Microsoft Exchange and SharePoint. Prior to that, he served as Senior Vice President of Mid-Atlantic Operations for Ness Technologies, a Microsoft Gold Partner with a regional focus on Microsoft collaborative and content solutions. Marty graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.  

Giovanni (Gio) Estrada, Director of Business Development, is responsible for sales of new client engagements, marketing, lead generation as well as channel and alliance management for Portal Solutions.   His coverage includes sales and account management services to commercial and not-for organizations in the US.   Gio previously served as Microsoft Sales Alliance Manager for EMC Corporation.   Prior to EMC,  he was with Microsoft Corporation, where he served as Partner Marketing Manager covering Gold-Certified partners in Mid-Atlantic and Great Southeast Areas.    He has also worked for other leading Fortune 10 Companies, like General Electric, as well as with start-ups, like Soza & Company, LTD in a sales and BD role.   Gio graduated from American University in Washington, DC with an MBA in International Marketing and a BSBA in International Business and Finance.
