We created Portal Solutions to help organizations leverage the business benefits of Microsoft’s Collaborative Technologies, specifically those based on the SharePoint platform. We saw that there was a void in the market, because many of the other firms who were providing SharePoint services seemed to be having a difficult time satisfying their customers. We knew this because many of their clients came to us. These other SharePoint providers had broad and impressive Microsoft expertise, but they were either not knowledgeable enough about SharePoint or they had limited understanding of its business value. From the day we started our company, we committed to becoming experts in SharePoint technology and its relevance for our customers’ businesses. Not only did they like our approach, but our clients also appreciated that we consistently finish our projects on time and on budget.

Our business philosophy is based on several fundamental principles which we follow religiously. The first is our overall approach to client engagements: Every project we undertake must create long-term value for the client. We want to significantly improve the overall performance of their organization, not simply plug in a few stop-gap measures. Our extensive experience and industry-leading expertise with SharePoint has earned us the highest possible ratings from Microsoft, and has enabled us to do more with the SharePoint platform than other IT consulting firms in our space.
